The car

The car is a 1978 911 SC.  It started off its life in cashmere beige and is now white gold metallic.  The front and rear fenders have been flared giving it the turbo look.  The work was done in steel and it looks good.  However I can see some weld marks and maybe some loose filler under the paint.  You can only see it close up.  It won't be a concern until I want to repaint the car.
The front and rear bumpers are fiberglass and currently shod in primer grey.  I'm thinking I'll have them sprayed when I put the car on the road. It should look ok for a while.
Other notibles on the outside are the 930 mirrors, the h4 headlights and the wheels and brakes.  The PO spared no expense on a set of beautiful three piece CCW wheels in front of Brembo brakes.  The wheels are even color matched to the white gold body.
The body still needs plenty of work.  It needs a full weatherstripping replacement and is missing the rear tail lights.  It's also missing the torsion spring access covers.
Now on to the interior.  The PO had the dash and seats 're-upholstered in a light beige. However, the seats were left in the car stacked over several years. They got dirty, wet and moldy. I don't know if they can be salvaged, but I will give it a shot.
The rest of the interior is stripped bare. So it needs door panels, rear seat side panels, rear deck and full carpet.  The dash is missing some parts too.  Lots of work needed.
Now onto the engine.  The fuel injectors and fuel distributor were out of the car.  A few other parts were missing too or in boxes.  I still have to inventory everything.  The engine is pretty dirty.  It looks like it has thirtysometing years of grime.  Oh, and this car has a/c.  That will one of the last systems to fix.  Or I may just pull it out.
So that's the car right now. I will be going though it and put together a plan to get it on the road.   Later!
